vs Alternatives
IMO the fees on Karsa are extremely low compared to the rest of the market. This has allowed me to save (and spend!) more of my hard earned dollars.
How long did account verification and setup take?
KYC was approved within minutes. Signing up for an account is simple and straightforward. All you need is a valid email, phone number, and identity.
Which countries could you send and receive money from?
I've received money from American accounts and spent it in Europe. From my experience, third party (e.g. Deel) payouts process same-day.
Were card transaction fees and foreign fees transparent?
I've used my debit card in 5+ countries across three continents. Foreign transaction fees were very low, even 30-45bps lower than my bank card.
What's great
Games run smoothly in my browser and load instantly. Extremely easy to play with friends by sharing the lobby link.
vs Alternatives
Path of least resistance from point A (launch of new game) → B (playing new game) because there are no native installs and therefore no wait times.
What average input latency do you experience versus native installs?
Input latency is similar to native install, having played 5+ hours of games on Wavedash. Pretty sure they utilize local hardware via WebGPU+.
Any noticeable audio latency or desync issues in browser?
No issues (I'm using Chrome).
