What’s the one thing that kept you going when your startup almost broke you?

We often discuss success here, including launches, traction, and growth hacks.

But let s talk about something else for a moment.

That one moment when it felt like it was over.

No funding. No traction. Silence from users. The team is falling apart.

Hi PH community,

My team and I just launched Byterover a self-improving memory layer for coding agents on AI IDEs like Cursor, Windsurf, and more.

We ve been sitting at #1 for the past 18 hours since launch. Super grateful but I also think we could ve done a lot better with better prep.

Founder Burnout Check-in: What Quiet Habit Keeps You Sane?

Let s be real no one builds anything meaningful without flirting with burnout.

But the habits that save us aren't always the flashy 5AM club routines or viral productivity hacks.

What problems do you face when learning from Youtube?

I'm curious about how you all approach learning on YouTube. Do you regularly watch tutorials, courses, or educational content for skill building?

I'd love to hear about your biggest frustrations and any solutions you've discovered!

I'm asking because I'm exploring ways to make YouTube learning more effective and would love to hear the community's experiences and insights!

How to communicate price increases to existing customers?

Yesterday, I asked how you set your pricing strategy and discounts (you had some interesting insights and experiences to share Thank you!).

Setting prices is one thing, but what about increasing them?

I review hundreds of products daily and try to demo as many as I can - what do you want to learn?

I'm a product nerd. I love demoing and testing out products and am blessed that I can do this as part of my work here at Product Hunt but I sometimes forget to share my thoughts and impressions from testing products with the community....and I want to change that!
What would you like to see if I were to start sharing some reviews, product comparisons, and first impressions of Products that are launched or discovered? What aren't you currently seeing in reviews!
Throw any ideas, ask me anything, this is ultimately for you all!

How successful were you when you used influencer marketing for promoting your business or product?

A few minutes ago, I read an overview of a report that more people take a source of news, not traditional outlets and media, but influencers. [I am attaching the screenshot from Reutersinstitute.]

TL;DR:

FB, YT, IG  More attention is dedicated to news media/journalists

How do you get meaningful user feedback if your product is free?

I ve launched a free tool for career exploration in tech (AI-powered, no sign-up needed).

Users try it, but very few leave feedback.

What s worked for you to gather early signals without forcing people to fill long forms or hop on calls?

I d love to improve the experience but don t want to nag users.

What’s your favorite onboarding experience from a product (that you actually kept using)?

We re in the thick of redesigning onboarding for a new consumer app trying to make that first minute actually count. Not just informative, but compelling enough that people actually stick around and use it again.

Too many products treat onboarding like a tutorial. And it becomes easy for the user to view it as just another hurdle to get through instead of a moment to get set up for a positive experience. Swipe, swipe swipe, go...

What are the best apps/tools for learning languages? + Your experiences and struggles

The last 2 or 3 years, I have been trying to learn more foreign languages besides English.
My go-to app is (not surprisingly) Duolingo.

I have also experience with Memrise, but it didn't feel like a good fit.

I find these apps to help learn vocabulary or for keeping up with a language I've previously learned in other ways (for example, from a language school or online lessons), but not necessarily for learning at a conversational level.

Launching Uniskill – a global peer to peer learning platform (feedback welcome)

Hey everyone

I m currently building a new startup called Uniskill a global peer to peer learning platform where real people teach real skills live and in real time

The idea came from frustration with endless video tutorials and pre recorded content that doesn t feel personal or actionable. With Uniskill learners can connect instantly with verified experts for one on one or small group sessions. Think of it as a fast human centered alternative to traditional e learning

We re launching the MVP on September 2 2025 and will be running a Kickstarter campaign to get community support and early adopters involved

How to break down AI product adoption barriers?

Have you ever considered the human biases that might slow down the adoption of your product?

I'm currently working on building my first AI product (coming soon!), and I wanted to share some thoughts on the adoption challenges I anticipate.
