How does ChatGPT and AI transform your data analysis workflow for your organization?

There are many BI tools that help users get insights to support business decision-making such as PowerBI, Tableau, Superset...etc. And often time it still requires somebody with technical skills to learn the tools from 1 week to 2 months before they can be productive. At times, they will need to write SQL codes to answer a question while some requests go through an IT queue system. So it can takes days if not weeks. And by the the time, answers get to the hand of business users, the market may have already changed or more questions needed to be asked to support business decisions-making. What if business users get their own simple tool without SQL or Coding skills required, where they can simply ask a question and get an instant insight with interactive charts and next step recommendations - how will business users - from intern to CFO - want to use it, now that they don't have to code or rely heavily on analysts with coding skills? Any thoughts?

Will AI Replace Data Analysts — or Make Them 10x More Powerful?

With AI getting better at parsing spreadsheets, generating dashboards, and even spotting trends automatically, I keep wondering:

  • Will AI replace data analysts or just transform their role into something new?

  • What tasks are you already automating?

  • Are there risks in removing too much human context from data work?

Curious to hear how others are navigating this shift especially those building or using data-heavy tools.
