What's great
Indispensable for workshops, especially when the team is spread across different cities. We’ve completely replaced physical sticky notes and flipcharts - brainstorming and retros now run much more dynamically. Everyone sees the same board and can vote in real time.
What needs improvement
Performance on very large boards. When a project runs for years and thousands of sticky notes and diagrams pile up, the interface starts to noticeably lag during navigation, which breaks the flow of thought.
vs Alternatives
Task synchronization here is more transparent for the entire development team
How reliable is performance during remote workshops?
Overall, it handles the load really well, especially when up to 10–15 people are in a session. But if we jump into a huge, old board with thousands of objects, you start to notice freezing and rendering delays
Does mind mapping feel intuitive and fast?
Yes, definitely

What's great
Amplitude’s biggest strength is clearly its focus on product questions. You can quickly validate a hypothesis, see what happens to retention after a release, and avoid spending days building custom reports. The tool also scales well with the product: you start with basic reports, and over time go deeper into user behavior, features, and journeys - it doesn’t run out too early
What needs improvement
The learning curve is pretty steep. New PMs or designers can struggle to get up to speed without proper onboarding or internal guides. And pricing starts to bite as the product grows

What's great
Documents look professional and structured by default - I’m not embarrassed to send them to stakeholders or investors via a simple link. The ability to collapse blocks and create nested pages helps manage complexity and keeps documents readable. The app is lightning fast, which is critical for me when I need to quickly jot down ideas after a meeting.
What needs improvement
It really lacks full-fledged databases with formulas and properties. Currently, tables in Craft are great for layout, but they aren't suitable for managing complex task lists or tracking project statuses.
How reliable is sync across Mac, iOS, and web?
Sync across Apple devices works flawlessly
Is the UI simple or does it feel complex?
The interface is one of the app's strongest points. It looks very clean and uncluttered, yet all features are accessible via convenient commands (slash menu). The learning curve is minimal, especially compared to bulkier wiki systems
