1926: a 28-page book sells 1.5M copies. The method: write what you want, read it daily. It Works Now adds the missing piece - track what actually happens. The List for what you want (things, experiences). The Money Map for income (net, spendable). Activity Rings for momentum. Intelligence for patterns and blind spots. Paper journal meets digital proof. No hustle theater. No woo. Free to use.

What's something that started as one line on paper?

Big things don't start big. They start with one sentence you half-believe when you write it. Mine was: "Build a tracking app for this method." 32 days later, it existed. I'm not saying writing things down is magic. I'm saying it's easy to forget how many things started exactly that way. What's something you wrote down that eventually became real? Doesn't have to be dramatic. Just true.

The part nobody talks about: noticing what's already working

Most goal-setting advice is about imagining harder. Visualizing. Believing. Cool. But I kept forgetting what I'd already written. And I had no way to know if my approach was actually working or if I was just busy. So I built something simple. Write it down. Track when it happens. Look for patterns. Not about thinking positive. Just about paying attention. What's your system for knowing what's...

Why the app has "Money Rings" (like Apple Fitness, but for income)

Most people track income once a month. Maybe. But if you're a freelancer or creator, income doesn't arrive on a schedule. It spikes, dips, disappears, then floods back. I wanted a way to see momentum, not just totals. So I added daily, weekly, and monthly rings. Fill them by logging what actually came in. Turns out a streak of small wins teaches you more than one big payday ever did. Anyone...

How long does it take from writing it down… to seeing it happen?

I’ve been writing my goals by hand for years. Some happened fast. Some didn’t. I started wondering: → What if I tracked the actual delay? → Would patterns show up? → Could I learn to focus better? That’s why I built It Works Now - so I could stop guessing and start learning from my own data. If you track your goals: What do you wish you could measure?

It Works - An awareness tool disguised as an income tracker

Hey builders 👋 It's Christmas. You're probably supposed to be doing something else right now. And yet here we are. Both of us. You reading Product Hunt, me posting on it. I built a thing. It's called It Works (itworks.now). The story A year and a half ago I found a 28-page book from 1926 that sold 1.5 million copies. The book is called "It Works: The Famous Little Red Book That Makes Your...

I'm what you might call a gringo vibe coder. No dev degree. No traditional background. Just me, Cursor, Claude, and AI... figuring things out together. Rick Rubin said it best: "In the past, for music, you had to go to the conservatory and study for years... then when punk rock came along... if you had something to say, you could say it." He calls vibe coding the punk rock of coding. That's...
