What's great
We’re using Trace at UniSub to clean up internal workflows, and it’s been pretty useful. What I like most is that it brings structure to messy processes without forcing you into rigid automation. You decide what’s handled by AI and what stays with the team, which matters a lot in a fast-moving startup environment.
Setup was straightforward, integrations fit naturally into our stack, and it saves real time. Solid product if you care about clarity and control as you scale.
What needs improvement
Clear value once you’re using it, but onboarding could get you there faster with more opinionated starter workflows. Better visibility into what’s automated vs handled by humans can also help as workflows grow in complexity.
Also, I think, something like ROI view (time saved, steps automated etc) would make internal adoption even easier - considering sometimes you have to "sell" this to your colleagues.
vs Alternatives
We haven't compared Trace to other solutions, just to what we could built ourselves. Obviously we decided to outsource this (i.e. use Trace) and focus on our product instead.
How is pricing structured for users and automations?
Team plan is just $200/month, and trust me - it saved much more $ by saving time.
