I started using Taplink to manage my Instagram bio links, and it has exceeded my expectations. The platform's design options are modern and responsive, ensuring my page looks great on all devices.​ The analytics tools have been instrumental in understanding my audience's preferences, allowing me to tailor my content accordingly. Taplink has become an essential part of my digital strategy.

There is no board or flight level views, you have to make your own filters and setup your organisation which may or may not be your best time spending idea. The swim lanes that are so interesting on the competitors (Jira, kanbanize etc) are not present here.

The search functionality, which allows past conversations and shared files to be easily found, is also incredibly useful. However, Slack may require a bit of a learning curve for those who are new to collaboration tools, and the mobile version could use some improvements in terms of performance.

Especially useful in the beginning stages of a product. They provide so many things out-of-the-box: authentication, file storage, etc. When a project grows, I find myself replacing some supabase's pre-built solutions with custom solutions. Even then, it holds up great, as it's just a Postgres database under the hood.

It provides plug-and-play deployment pipeliens for any Next.js project with sensible defaults. Things like automatic deployments, environment variables and deployment protection work out of the box without any tedious configuration. I recommend Vercel wholeheartedly for any solo developer or indie hacker.

Another great feature of Figma is its library of design assets, which includes UI elements, icons, and illustrations. This library is continually expanding, and it's easy to search and find what you need quickly. Figma also makes it easy to create design systems, which can save a significant amount of time when designing multiple interfaces for the same product. By using design systems, you can ensure consistency across your designs, making it easier to maintain a cohesive brand image.

From quick edits and seamless file conversions to the OCR tool that extracts text from scanned documents, everything works flawlessly. The AI assistant is a lifesaver for summarizing and proofreading PDFs, making document handling effortless. Plus, it’s lightweight, super fast, and doesn’t drain system resources like other editors.

Thanks to Scrimba, I was able to build a solid foundation in frontend development with much more ease and confidence. I’m now looking forward to their upcoming Fullstack Development course, launching on April 14th and I couldn’t be more excited to continue the journey.
