I'm diving into the world of bootstrapping and want to build something amazing without spending a dime. I know many of you have been there starting from scratch, hustling with free tools, and leveraging creativity to grow.
Let s share our best tips, hacks, and stories! What free tools, platforms, or strategies have you used to launch or scale a project on a $0 budget? From no-cost marketing tactics to open-source software or scrappy growth hacks, spill the beans!
We always hear about the big, popular productivity tools but I m more interested in the quiet game-changers. The tools that aren t in every headline but made a huge difference in how you work or build.
The world has changed rapidly over the past two decades with the internet, new technologies and the accelerated transfer of information.
Anyone not actively working online or in IT may have trouble keeping up with these "tech trends." This is especially true for older generations who did not have the opportunity to grow up with computers as it is today.
I have been building, learning, searching, investing for the last 6 years, back to back, non-stop. I feel I have officially reached burnout. One week I am super into building and I code new things like crazy. And the next I just want to chill and go surfing lol. Do you go through a similar phase? How do you deal with the constant change of emotions?
Lately, I ve been reflecting on the quiet fear that, as AI tools become better at creating art, writing, and design, creativity itself might lose its meaning.
It feels like a valid concern because:
AI can produce beautiful art and music faster than a human ever could,
Many creative fields are shifting from original creation to "curating" or "editing" AI outputs,
Instant generation often replaces slow, imperfect human exploration,
Younger generations are growing up with AI co-creation as the norm, not the exception.
I wonder: Will true creativity still matter when "good enough" is instantly available?
Personally, I was laid off a year ago and currently bottoming out on savings. Every day is not guaranteed, quite literally, at this point. Yet, I keep my head down and continue building out a product relentlessly that I, quite frankly, have no idea how it will turn out. Many of us took this leap of faith and are under strenuous circumstances, especially in the current market. If you're in similar positions, just know that everything will work out! Fortune favors the bold. We're in this together! I would love to hear your stories.
Hey Product Hunt! This morning I launched my first solo product ever: Controol a minimalist finance app built around one idea:
Know how much you can spend, not just what you already did.
No team. No paid ads. No launch list. Just late nights and building something I personally needed. I honestly didn t expect much but hours later, it made it to the Top 5 of the day
The feeling? Wild. Strangers are connecting with the mindset behind it, and it's been amazing to read their comments.

We gearing up for the launch of WebGremlin.ai and of course, planning to submit to PH. But I m curious, where else do you share your products to get traction? What are other platforms, forums, or communities that have worked well for you (like hackernews)? And while we re at it, what s your go-to initial launch strategy to make some noise?
One of the toughest engineering challenges we tackled at Inferless was Cold Starts a critical factor in evaluating true Serverless AI inference platforms.
Check out the video to learn how we made that happen along with a real example: Watch the demo here
