I feel like this is the first time my AI assistant has a really sharp and witty sense of humor and I love it. Opus 4.6 might be my new favorite.

Hey PH! I'm James – game designer behind 40+ titles including Advance Wars 1+2 with Nintendo, and entries in the Shantae series. XTERIX was built for a useful, alternate X / Twitter experience, taking the same philosophies one would apply to video game presentation, and pouring them into an app experience: ✨ The Vibes — satisfying haptics, the return of square profiles, optional "vaporwave"...

XTERIX: Vapordeck for X (Twitter)✨ Alternate X client with style: PIN lock, 25 accounts, more
The official X (Twitter) app is your feed. XTERIX is your weapon. This "vapordeck" for X starts by securing your account access with PIN privacy. Seamlessly swap between up to 25 logins, or obliterate data residue instantly with a quick 'Burner' session. Scroll, like, and repost from your wrist with X Apple Watch support. For power users who want their privacy to look as good as it feels: welcome to the vapordeck experience.

One thing I keep coming back to is that layoffs tend to be framed as 'AI is gonna be replacing humans' when in practice they’re more often organizations re-shuffling around uncertainty. AI becomes the visible catalyst, but fear, short term thinking, and general misalignment do a lot of the damage What I think helps is separating roles and value. Roles are fragile, but value compounds. The folks...

🔥 What makes an app feel "polished"?
Hey! I'm a game designer (Advance Wars, Shantae), and working on an app while applying game UI thinking (satisfying sensations, visual feedback) to hit that "feels good to use" factor. Curious to know from the PH community: What UX tells you an app is made thoughtfully? What makes something feel polished to you? For me: Haptics. I've personally been obsessed with a well-placed tick sensation,...

Could this work for creating environments for a Roblox game, I wonder? It would be helpful to be able to define a level of complexity / poly count to aim for when building if possible. The service looks really promising — best of luck with the launch Amara team!

Built for someone you love. That's a different kind of energy infused in the end result. Also respect the execution on this... the nostalgia UX is solid. I totally dig it. Now... can I watch Tom Green again on this? 🤣 Cheers!

honestly the best part is just how thoughtful this is. popovers instead of finder windows everywhere feels like such a small thing but it actually changes your workflow

The Cursor-style diffs for AI edits is the detail that sells me. Actually showing what the AI changed instead of just doing things behind your back-- that's the trust builder. Tauri over Electron is the right call too imo; native performance matters especially for something you keep open all day. Gonna give this a spin..

Why does it say Clawbot some places, Clawdbot other places? I heard it's Moltbot now due to Anthropic but now sure why the discrepancy with the old name? Either way, I got mine setup and been using it! It's been delightful, though I do feel if you could solve the setup complexity to be more user friendly, this thing could absolutely explode. I have to wonder if you're keeping it intentionally a...

This looks promising for rapid prototyping. As a game designer, I'm curious — any plans to integrate with or export to Unity? Being able to prototype quickly here and then bring it into a proper engine for polish could be a killer workflow.

The "appears when you need it, vanishes when you don't" pattern is such good UX — invisible until the moment it's useful. Love the name origin too. These small Mac utilities that just solve one thing beautifully are my favorite kind of software

There's something quietly radical about designing an app meant to be closed. In a world that treats engagement as the ultimate metric, this feels like a small act of rebellion — injecting beauty into someone's day just for the sake of it. Downloaded.

Love the evolution mechanic-- as a game designer, the "grow your companion" hook is such a smart way to make productivity feel rewarding instead of punishing. The eye tracking blink detail is a nice touch too. Congrats on the launch
