What's great
If you are doing cold outreach, Clay will 3x the conversion. They also have amazing internal education, both video-based resources and cohorts (I wish they run those more!)
What needs improvement
Quite easy to get started but hard to get the fullest extent.
vs Alternatives
#1 in data enrichment for outbound sales.

What's great
Super dev friendly
Prototyping
Intuitive design
Surprisingly good for making decks
What needs improvement
Once you have many files or large files, it takes FOREVER TO LOAD
Export can be a pain with all the layers - always have to allocate some time to review and export again and again in case we missed an icon or a number or sth.
Offline mode is not the best - not ideal for folks who work on the go
vs Alternatives
Imo Figma is still the best design / prototype product out there. The new AI features make it even stronger. Figma Make and Figma MCP are worth exploring.
Is the learning curve manageable for new designers?
Yes, it's the gold standard now so designers are expected to master figma

What's great
Slack remains one of the golden standards for remote team collaboration; my favorite part of the tool is the integrations it carries natively. Channels also help a lot for teams that wear many hats.
What needs improvement
Free version limits remain a blocker. However, many competitor tools have also lowered their free version limits so not the biggest flaw. I do think the mobile version can be further improved though!
vs Alternatives
I still use the other products but vary a lot of the situation. Lark is more of a super app that also includes gmeet/zoom and notion - used a lot more in Chinese companies. Teams is still heavily used in consulting / f500 companies. Discord is used more for gaming / community management for crypto and ai startups. Webex and Mattermost are more niches now.
Does Slack integrate smoothly with your key tools?
Yes, integration is a major competitive advantage of Slack vs. other comps.
How easy is it to standardize channel naming and usage?
Very.

What's great
Been using Typefully for ~2 years now. One of the easiest tools for marketers to get started (even non-growth marketers or social media managers). They continued to make improvements on the UIUX, and recent features in 2.0 have been impressive. It's especially helpful for X content scheduling.
What needs improvement
Collaboration features are a great addition, but face issues on occasion. Another downside is the lack of support/feature for other, less text-heavy platforms, as it's more optimized for X.
vs Alternatives
Easy to use. Industry standard for social content.
Is there a useful free tier and its limitations?
Yes, one of the better free tiers out there. 15 posts / month - enough for most early-stage teams and creators.

What's great
Very user-friendly. For newer teams getting started with a newsletter or email service, Mailchimp is a powerful, ready-to-use option.
What needs improvement
It's on the pricer side for the standard service offerings they offer, with very low usage limits compared to alternatives like Mailerlite and Beehiiv. Not sure if it is related to the acquisition, but in the last few years, I saw a lot less innovation with product features, and customer support speed is also slower. The free tier is quite unusable for most. Many teams I know have switched away from MailChimp.
vs Alternatives
Easy to get the team started. We built our own email service later with a private sequencer to enhance deliverability.
What limits did you hit on the free plan?
Usually around 500 for the free plan.
