I loved OpenClaw. It proved that AI agents could have real personality, memory, and a soul. But when I tried to put mine in front of actual users, everything fell apart. Flat JSON files corrupt. SQLite locks under load. There's no auth, no multi-tenancy, no way to track costs, no audit trail. The SOUL.md file is clever but it's just a text file -- no versioning, no structure, no safety net....
