About

I'm Chris - co-founder and CEO of BrowserBook. My co-founder Jorrie and I started BrowserBook in the summer of 2024 as a company called Chorrie (our creativity knows no bounds). We were building automations for back-office healthcare workflows using browser agents, but we quickly found that agentic browser automation was too slow, expensive, and inconsistent. So, we set out to build the product that we wish we had at the time - BrowserBook, the browser automation IDE.

Adding configurable proxies for API-based execution

Hey PH - today we re rolling out configurable proxies for API-based execution in BrowserBook.

One of the most common reasons browser automations fail in production is bot detection. Captchas, IP reputation issues, geo restrictions, and rate limits can derail even solid Playwright workflows once you start running them at scale.

Introducing BrowserBook Agent

Hey PH, today we're launching the BrowserBook Agent!

We ve been working on a way to move past manual, step-by-step automation building. The new Agent is a fully autonomous builder designed to take a single high-level prompt and turn it into a complete, deterministic workflow - handling all the technical heavy lifting behind the scenes. See it in action here:

BrowserBook - The Browser Automation IDE

BrowserBook is an AI-powered IDE for building fast, reliable browser automations. It pairs a Jupyter-style notebook with a context-aware AI coding assistant and an inline browser, enabling developers to write, test, and debug automations all in one place. With built-in auth management, data extraction, screenshot tools, and API deployment, you can go from idea to production-ready automation in minutes, not hours.
